Scene 04 — The Port | The Mariana Cave

Scene 05

They arrive at the port and drive into the open car park towards a small crowd. As they pull up to the marina close to the docked boats, in the distance a large boat enters the marina with a submarine on top.

Everyone gets out of the pickup and joins a group already there. Hayden in the background pulls up and rests the dirtbike against a lamp post.

Gerard

(gently hits Laurence on the arm to get his attention)

We're on the island for less than one day and he decides to rent a dirtbike!? Where is he even going to leave it!?

Laurence

I'm guessing on that lamp post. Not like it can go very far.

Driver

I wouldn't be so sure of that around here. I'll keep it safe, no worries guys.

The large boat with the submarine has arrived at the marina and docks. The crew from the boat excitedly come ashore and greet the crowd on the dock.

The team gets on the boat, looking impressed by the submarine sitting on the rear—walking around it, pointing, checking it over.

In the background, the crew from the boat start taking the equipment aboard.

The view pans around the front of the boat, then the submarine on the back. It circles the submarine and travels down the hull, focusing closely on the side panel. Suddenly they're out in the ocean—water splashing up against the vessel.

On the deck, Stephanie and Laurence are sitting together in mid-conversation.
